Using Data & Analytics to Prove (and Improve) the Effectiveness of Training

Using Data & Analytics to Prove (and Improve) the Effectiveness of Training
With Jason Haag from Veracity
L&D decision-makers and designers often do not know what learning analytics are possible or what should even be measured. This is a common challenge for many xAPI implementations. Many development efforts often start with only a basic understanding of xAPI and rush into implementing it without thinking about how the data will be evaluated later on. Basic xAPI support is provided by many authoring tools and its potential often excites us, but the default data is not often useful.
In this session we a joined by Jason Haag, Co-Founder of Veracity LRS. You’ll learn how to identify simple measures that will directly support your evaluation, reporting, and analytics goals. You’ll leave this session with new insights on how to strategically plan and implement xAPI-based content using this approach to better measure for business impact and learning or training effectiveness. This approach/angle on this topic is unique because it starts with the end in mind (evaluation) and will provide the audience with real-world examples and tangible visualizations they can use to spawn deeper thoughts and discussions on learning and performance analytics strategy.
